I create cinematic, wildly beautiful photographs of the people you love most - because your life deserves to be documented.

I'm an adventurous Portland family photographer, a collector of ordinary magic, and a firm believer that you are already a masterpiece. I just know where to stand.

I photograph windblown hair and bare feet. I photography the kid who refuses to cooperate. And the way their tiny hand reaches for yours without thinking. The ridiculous, achingly beautiful things happening right before your eyes.

Someday the ordinary things won't feel ordinary at all. They'll feel like a fuzzy memory you wish you could reach back into and hold.

From motherhood and maternity, to those hazy newborn days and the glorious chaos that follows, I create cinematic photographs that feel like you. Your heart and soul...rendered as forever heirlooms. A little wild. A little undone. Full of movement and meaning and honesty. Portland is home, but I'll happily follow you into the Columbia River Gorge, out to the Oregon coast, up into the mountains, or across the rivers to Vancouver...wherever your story takes us.

01Let's Create Something

Let's Make Some Magic. Many of my clients first find me while waiting for baby, and somehow I get lucky enough to photograph their stories for years to come.

My work is nostalgic, cinematic, a little wild, and meant to make you feel something. To evoke emotion. To stir your soul. I'm not interested in making your family look perfect. I want to make photographs that feel unmistakably like you. If you look through my work and feel that little pull in your chest, we are probably going to make something beautiful together.

02Just Show Up

Once we've committed to making some magic together, I'll send you a detailed client guide. We'll choose the perfect wild space in or near Portland, the Columbia River Gorge, the mountains, or the Oregon coast to meet, and I'll help you style everyone from beginning to end. When the day comes, your only job is to show up. Come ready to play, explore, love your people, and let the kids be weird. Come with absolutely no expectation of perfect behavior or perfectly posed photographs. Just be together in your perfectly imperfect way. I'll take care of the rest.

Within three weeks your story lands in your inbox: a gallery filled with the very best images from our time together, individually edited and yours to download and keep.
